BCP120 - Calgary (Nose Hill 3)
Made a number of tries for this one over the last few years, but I've always come up empty handed. Today however was my day. I knew from reading various logs that this one had been found (quite a number of times now). So it shouldn't be too difficult.
Paced off my distance from the large rock, and then walked in a rough arc looking for the cap. Found what at first I thought were a pair of gopher holes. On closer inspection, one turned out to be the cap (the other was presumably a missed attempt at the cap...).
Put a rock in the hole to hopefully keep it open for the next cacher.
Thanks for the cap, and thanks to those who uncovered this one.

infoA virtual cache is a cache that exists in a form of a location. Depending on the cache "hider," a virtual cache could be to answer a question about a location, an interesting spot, a task, etc. The reward for these caches is the location itself and sharing information about your visit.

Because of the nature of these geocaches, you must actually visit the location and acquire the coordinates there before you can post. In addition, although many locations are interesting, a virtual cache should be out of the ordinary enough to warrant logging a visit.

Virtuals are now considered waymarks on Waymarking.com.
