Found it van der Decken found Brass Cap Cache- Smith-Dorrien Rd (Locked)

Saturday, 01 November 2008Alberta, Canada

BCP357 - Little Bow
Elev. 922 metres

Today seemed like my day to explore dusty back roads in southern Alberta. There's certainly no shortage of them! The cap is in reasonable shape and although it has been struck a few times the numbers can still be made out. The guard pole is easily visible from the road and the cap is still neatly excavated. And despite being well beyond the middle of nowhere (I'm sure I saw a sign for Middle of Nowhere at least 20 kilometres back!), I still managed to run into a local landowner who stopped while driving by and asked if I needed any help. Thanks for the cap with a view!

infoA virtual cache is a cache that exists in a form of a location. Depending on the cache "hider," a virtual cache could be to answer a question about a location, an interesting spot, a task, etc. The reward for these caches is the location itself and sharing information about your visit.

Because of the nature of these geocaches, you must actually visit the location and acquire the coordinates there before you can post. In addition, although many locations are interesting, a virtual cache should be out of the ordinary enough to warrant logging a visit.

Virtuals are now considered waymarks on Waymarking.com.
