Elev = 682m

Even experienced surveyors have to dig up the wrong post once in a while I was getting GZ about 1-2m south of this actual cap. I got a very strong signal. Poked around and noticed the telltale evidence of a previous grass flop put back in place.Back to the car get the shovel and start excavating. Even if the hint said c.s. 0.05 I was not really concerned as this was the end of a soccer field. Public land gets changed all the time after these caps are placed so in I went.....This isnt the cap because the actual cap is about 2 metre`s away sitting under some leaves..so WHAT IS IT ? It is very secure and will not bend or twist with extreme effort...Thanks OFTH for another mini adventure in the Big Lights.

Probably some sort of anchor? Probably some sort of anchor?

infoA virtual cache is a cache that exists in a form of a location. Depending on the cache "hider," a virtual cache could be to answer a question about a location, an interesting spot, a task, etc. The reward for these caches is the location itself and sharing information about your visit.

Because of the nature of these geocaches, you must actually visit the location and acquire the coordinates there before you can post. In addition, although many locations are interesting, a virtual cache should be out of the ordinary enough to warrant logging a visit.

Virtuals are now considered waymarks on Waymarking.com.
