Even experienced surveyors have to dig up the wrong post once in a while I was getting GZ about 1-2m south of this actual cap. I got a very strong signal. Poked around and noticed the telltale evidence of a previous grass flop put back in place.Back to the car get the shovel and start excavating. Even if the hint said c.s. 0.05 I was not really concerned as this was the end of a soccer field. Public land gets changed all the time after these caps are placed so in I went.....This isnt the cap because the actual cap is about 2 metre`s away sitting under some WHAT IS IT ? It is very secure and will not bend or twist with extreme effort...Thanks OFTH for another mini adventure in the Big Lights.
