Found it Geofellas found Triple Border Monument

Monday, May 22, 2006Csongrád, Hungary

This has been on my MUST DO list for a long time. It was a hot sunny day and I had driven from Slovakia - through the horrible traffic in Budapest, down the motorway where I met some other crazy Brits who were driving from London to Jerusalem and eventually made it to this place.

I was all alone which was very wonderful - just to think about this place and what it means.

As for the cache - it was not quite where I would have expected it to be (once I got to GZ and saw what I saw) but about 5m away just sitting on the ground - in fact I think I might even have stepped on it on my way in. Nevertheless I did replace it exactly where I found it because I assume that is where it was intended to be.

Took lots of photos but will have to upload them later.

Thank you more than I can say for placing this cache here - I don't know if I would have been able to find my way to the location without you - I really really wanted to come here.

infoThis is the original cache type consisting, at a bare minimum, a container and a log book. Normally you'll find a tupperware container, ammo box, or bucket filled with goodies, or smaller container ("micro cache") too small to contain items except for a log book. The coordinates listed on the traditional cache page is the exact location for the cache.
