Found it gumbyphv found Brass Cap Cache- Smith-Dorrien Rd (Locked)

Wednesday, November 18, 2015Alberta, Canada

I found BCP276 Calgary - Child Ave. tonight.

My company had set up a booth at the GIS event at the zoo today and I decided to come down and check out the event. I noticed that this cap was close and I figured I would come and look for it after I left the event and before I headed back to Red Deer. When I got here a rabbit hopped by and then a group of bikers rode passed with some greetings for me. Once I started searching it didn't take long for my metal detector to get a reading, I kicked away the snow and found the divot with the cap shortly after that. A great night to find a cap in a nice park. Thanks for another cool brass cap. TFTBC

infoA virtual cache is a cache that exists in a form of a location. Depending on the cache "hider," a virtual cache could be to answer a question about a location, an interesting spot, a task, etc. The reward for these caches is the location itself and sharing information about your visit.

Because of the nature of these geocaches, you must actually visit the location and acquire the coordinates there before you can post. In addition, although many locations are interesting, a virtual cache should be out of the ordinary enough to warrant logging a visit.

Virtuals are now considered waymarks on Waymarking.com.
