Found it sapien found Brass Cap Cache- Smith-Dorrien Rd (Locked)

Sunday, April 9, 2017Alberta, Canada

BCP101 Calgary (Crescent Road)

My last BC of the day and I almost logged it as a DNF until I read some of the previous logs. There are at least two very obvious depressions in the ground near this BC. One seemed like a very likely host for a BC but like previous cachers, I didn't find it in there. Heeding the advice of the previous cachers, I expanded my search area and after brushing away some natural camo, the cap was found. Most of the colour noted by previous finders has faded but the BC is still hard to miss once you come across it. Cap details on their way. TF a great day BC hunting. :-)

infoA virtual cache is a cache that exists in a form of a location. Depending on the cache "hider," a virtual cache could be to answer a question about a location, an interesting spot, a task, etc. The reward for these caches is the location itself and sharing information about your visit.

Because of the nature of these geocaches, you must actually visit the location and acquire the coordinates there before you can post. In addition, although many locations are interesting, a virtual cache should be out of the ordinary enough to warrant logging a visit.

Virtuals are now considered waymarks on Waymarking.com.
