Found it sapien found Brass Cap Cache- Smith-Dorrien Rd (Locked)

Thursday, April 13, 2017Alberta, Canada

BCP276 Calgary - Child Ave.
N51 03.426 W114 01.921

I was literally stopping down the street from this BC today so I decided to stop here first and see if I could make the find in the thick of Calgary's surprise snowfall this morning. It didn't look good at the beginning though when I found a decoy indentation in the ground near GZ first. But once I widened my search area, I finally saw this BC. It appears to have had a recent paint touch-up job to mark it a LOT brighter (I'm talking "put on your sunglasses" bright). I'm amazed whoever did that also managed to just dig out a hole the exact size of the BC. What a pro! :-) The falling snow certainly made it challenging to get the information for this cache but I've sent what details I have via email. TFTBC.

infoA virtual cache is a cache that exists in a form of a location. Depending on the cache "hider," a virtual cache could be to answer a question about a location, an interesting spot, a task, etc. The reward for these caches is the location itself and sharing information about your visit.

Because of the nature of these geocaches, you must actually visit the location and acquire the coordinates there before you can post. In addition, although many locations are interesting, a virtual cache should be out of the ordinary enough to warrant logging a visit.

Virtuals are now considered waymarks on Waymarking.com.
