BCP063 - Calgary (Calgary Tower)
Was able to scale the whole tower using only a trekking pole and a bungee cord! Actually, I'm making that up: everyone knows you can take the elevator to almost the top! When I got there, Harvey, the security guard was nice enough to let me out on the roof, and made my way from there. Unfortunately, I took my LAST picture of Bit at the Edworthy cap, and sadly, did not have enough film for the tower cap. I hate it when that happens! The cap was hard to read anyway, it's as if the numbers all melted together from the heat of the flame. But wow - what a great view from up there!! And no crowds. In all fairness, though, the terrain rating should be at least 4.5, if not a 5 for this one. Thanks for one unforgettable cache!

infoA virtual cache is a cache that exists in a form of a location. Depending on the cache "hider," a virtual cache could be to answer a question about a location, an interesting spot, a task, etc. The reward for these caches is the location itself and sharing information about your visit.

Because of the nature of these geocaches, you must actually visit the location and acquire the coordinates there before you can post. In addition, although many locations are interesting, a virtual cache should be out of the ordinary enough to warrant logging a visit.

Virtuals are now considered waymarks on Waymarking.com.
