Found it sapien found Brass Cap Cache- Smith-Dorrien Rd (Locked)

Sunday, 02 April 2017Alberta, Canada

BCP108 Carstairs

With the impending changes at GS resulting in the potential demise of this cache (so sad! :-( ), losmir and narloth decided to do a road trip today to grab as many brass caps as they could. I was just happy to tag along with them; it's been a while since we've cached together. We had a great time, finding a bunch of brass caps plus a few caches, seeing some of the AB countryside, and most importantly, just enjoying each other's company.

Based on alllllll the recent logs, it appears we weren't the only ones out on the hunt for brass caps today.

This one was our first brass cap of the day. The hint was pretty much irrelevant now as the area around GZ has changed but narloth was able to spot it without too much difficulty. I think it helps when another cacher found it a few days earlier. :-) Losmir will be sending OFTH the necessary proof for our group's finds today. TFTBC.

infoA virtual cache is a cache that exists in a form of a location. Depending on the cache "hider," a virtual cache could be to answer a question about a location, an interesting spot, a task, etc. The reward for these caches is the location itself and sharing information about your visit.

Because of the nature of these geocaches, you must actually visit the location and acquire the coordinates there before you can post. In addition, although many locations are interesting, a virtual cache should be out of the ordinary enough to warrant logging a visit.

Virtuals are now considered waymarks on Waymarking.com.
