Found it PDOP's found Brass Cap Cache- Smith-Dorrien Rd (Locked)

Saturday, 05 May 2012Alberta, Canada

BCP576 Eaton Road

Got this one after dropping off some stuff at Hinton's annual e-waste, paint & toxic round up. It's a nice urban cap hiding in a hole across from the fire hall with parking close by. This one is a little beat up and the GP is propped up loosely in the hole.

Total Waypoints: 5
Horizontal Error in metres: Average = 0.98 , Minimum = 0.67, Maximum = 2.10
BCP Elevation = 1047.3 metres Average Elevation Of Waypoints = 1052.9 metres
Average Elevation Difference from BCP = 5.5 metres
(adjusted for GPSr being held 1.7 metres above BCP)

Thanks for the fun OFTH

infoA virtual cache is a cache that exists in a form of a location. Depending on the cache "hider," a virtual cache could be to answer a question about a location, an interesting spot, a task, etc. The reward for these caches is the location itself and sharing information about your visit.

Because of the nature of these geocaches, you must actually visit the location and acquire the coordinates there before you can post. In addition, although many locations are interesting, a virtual cache should be out of the ordinary enough to warrant logging a visit.

Virtuals are now considered waymarks on Waymarking.com.
