Turned out to be a really nice day to do this hike. Embarked on this hike with my dad (TiE) and my little brother, our goal was to reach this summit and the continue on to the Bridgeland Creek Ridge cap. Most of the traverse to this cap was through the forest. The bushwack got a little harder as we started to ascend but overall was not that bad. The cutlines we encountered before this cap were quite overgrown but near the summit one opened up making the final push pretty enjoyable. It was nice nabbing a cap pretty early on in the hike but we were still less halfway to the final summit! Another positive is the cap gave us a good excuse to stop and have a snack before we continued. Thanks for the cap.

infoA virtual cache is a cache that exists in a form of a location. Depending on the cache "hider," a virtual cache could be to answer a question about a location, an interesting spot, a task, etc. The reward for these caches is the location itself and sharing information about your visit.

Because of the nature of these geocaches, you must actually visit the location and acquire the coordinates there before you can post. In addition, although many locations are interesting, a virtual cache should be out of the ordinary enough to warrant logging a visit.

Virtuals are now considered waymarks on Waymarking.com.
