This was just a beautiful day to be out in the sun. Fresh powder last night with -18 degrees insured a great day out. Or "oot ther" as my buddy says. When I arrived I discovered that the trail right to the cap had been packed down for the cross country skiers... I put aside the snow shoes and walked all the way to the cap on a hard pack. 30 metres from the cap I waded in up to the thighs got a bootful and exclaimed my undying love for mother nature ....Grabbed my shots took a bearing on geonanas cache which was not winter friendly and went on my way. I had 7 DNFs yesterday due to snow so I wasn`t wrecking this great day.!!

Thanks OFTH for another great cap and a darn good excuse to git oot ther !

infoA virtual cache is a cache that exists in a form of a location. Depending on the cache "hider," a virtual cache could be to answer a question about a location, an interesting spot, a task, etc. The reward for these caches is the location itself and sharing information about your visit.

Because of the nature of these geocaches, you must actually visit the location and acquire the coordinates there before you can post. In addition, although many locations are interesting, a virtual cache should be out of the ordinary enough to warrant logging a visit.

Virtuals are now considered waymarks on Waymarking.com.
