Found it dingoagogo found Turtle Creek Flood Plain: Sandbar

Saturday, June 15, 2013Wisconsin

Dudenblt and I, together with Brook and our daughters, headed out this afternoon with the goal of attaining the number of Turtle Creek finds we needed in order to log Cheviac72's new challenge cache.

After getting some that we both needed and then finding the challenge cache itself, we stopped by this one. Dudenblt had already found it, but I needed it to finish up all the Turtle Creek caches. As we headed to GZ, we could hear the sounds of a killer house party nearby complete with a live band! We wondered if they'd notice if we crashed it. I started searching, but as it turned out, my GPSr had me about 25 feet away. But then the dude subtly directed me to where I needed to be. I just think he enjoyed knowing where a cache was before I did, for a change!

infoThis is the original cache type consisting, at a bare minimum, a container and a log book. Normally you'll find a tupperware container, ammo box, or bucket filled with goodies, or smaller container ("micro cache") too small to contain items except for a log book. The coordinates listed on the traditional cache page is the exact location for the cache.
