I had some time today to go out and hike, so this cache was my main goal. I arrived at the parking lot and then had to figure out my next step. I brought water shoes so when I reached the edge of the creek I changed out of my hiking boot and into the water wear. I rolled up my pants and was able to easily walk across. Changed backed into hiking boots and prepared for prickers and bushwhacking to S1. I found a deer trail but still had to be careful around pricker bushes and I soon picked up a stick to remove spider webs as opposed to walking into them. I arrived at the first waypoint and searched and searched. I think I understood the hint but still did not see the container. I contacted Domerdoc since she had the same problem. She was very gracious and helped me move to the next stage. I am uncertain if the previous finders skipped over Stage 1 or not. I think this stage needs to be replaced. I had no problem with the next stage and my swiss army knife came in handy. Moved over to the final and surveyed the treacherous rocks that I was going to have to maneuver around to make the find. I searched from the bottom and from the top. I finally spied something promising. Got into position and had the ammo can in hand. You don't have to put yourself into a precarious position to make this find. I was having trouble with the coordinates and the mosquitoes were bugging me as I signed the log so I did not check the reading on my gps. Thanks Space2081 team for another challenging and memorable cache.
