Found it tipete found Brass Cap Cache- Smith-Dorrien Rd (Locked)

Saturday, 07 December 2013Alberta, Canada

As the previous cacher mentionned, any attempts after that Dec2 blizzard would prove difficult. I didn't know about brass caps until after my last visit to Calgary where I could have found a few being that it was in April. Now I was casually trying a few as I was driving/walking by, rapidly abandonning when there were no hints there was even a BCP to be found.
Seventeenth of 26 caches on beautiful but cold Saturday back in Calgary!
Why be easy when it can be difficult? So here I am on a 8.5km hike in Nose Hill Park at -26C.
BCP060 Calgary (Nose Hill), found inside the small gov of Canada enclosure around N 51° 06.086 W 114° 06.161, alt=1227m
Found quickly but looks like an older or different type of brass cap; pic and info sent, logging with permission.

infoA virtual cache is a cache that exists in a form of a location. Depending on the cache "hider," a virtual cache could be to answer a question about a location, an interesting spot, a task, etc. The reward for these caches is the location itself and sharing information about your visit.

Because of the nature of these geocaches, you must actually visit the location and acquire the coordinates there before you can post. In addition, although many locations are interesting, a virtual cache should be out of the ordinary enough to warrant logging a visit.

Virtuals are now considered waymarks on Waymarking.com.
