Found it gumbyphv found Brass Cap Cache- Smith-Dorrien Rd (Locked)

Saturday, 18 June 2016Alberta, Canada

I found BCP344 St Albert CITO-1.

The way my GPS wanted to take me from the north end of town to this cap had me going right up to a "Road Closed" sign. The road was closed because of the market and that is a huge market and it seemed like everyone in the city was down there. It was a beautiful day so it's awesome to see so many people outside and enjoying the market but a little unfortunate for me as I was on a caching mission before I had to leave town. I actually found one parking space in the nearby parking lot that I could take and walked over to GZ. I was sure happy that it was a cap I was looking for with all these people around. There's still a circular island but no aircraft or anything else, the island is empty. I looked around and didn't see anything that would resemble the cap until I checked a very small circle of somewhat grass and there was the cap. Thanks for putting this cap in this interesting location and for bringing down to see how great this market is. TFTBC

infoA virtual cache is a cache that exists in a form of a location. Depending on the cache "hider," a virtual cache could be to answer a question about a location, an interesting spot, a task, etc. The reward for these caches is the location itself and sharing information about your visit.

Because of the nature of these geocaches, you must actually visit the location and acquire the coordinates there before you can post. In addition, although many locations are interesting, a virtual cache should be out of the ordinary enough to warrant logging a visit.

Virtuals are now considered waymarks on Waymarking.com.
