BCP385 - Kennedale Ravine

While i was logging cap finds from my last week I noticed BVPete's log about forgetting their tools at GZ. Now I've done this piles of times and it would be great if someone found my stuff and returned, so I sent them a message that I'd head there right away and hopefully find their stuff. The replied that it was already replaced and i could keep what i found, but hopefully at some time i can run into them and return the stuff i found at GZ today. A little ulterior motive too that it should be an easier find with a compass and screwdriver still sitting at GZ :)

The stuff was still there, the trampled grass though was what gave away the location. Cap is in great shape, I was almost fooled by the spike in the ground 2' or so from the real cap, which is also identified by a wooden stake.

infoA virtual cache is a cache that exists in a form of a location. Depending on the cache "hider," a virtual cache could be to answer a question about a location, an interesting spot, a task, etc. The reward for these caches is the location itself and sharing information about your visit.

Because of the nature of these geocaches, you must actually visit the location and acquire the coordinates there before you can post. In addition, although many locations are interesting, a virtual cache should be out of the ordinary enough to warrant logging a visit.

Virtuals are now considered waymarks on Waymarking.com.
