Found it colincactus found Streaker Challenge #3: Unconventional Streak

Monday, February 18, 2013South East England, United Kingdom

I was surprised that I didn't qualify for this one automatically as my longest streak is 21 and I do a lot of puzzles. However annoyingly the longest non-traditional streak in that was only nine - just one short.

So I had to qualify for this one properly (and to tell the truth I much prefer challenges when I do). We qualified for this at the end of July last year immediately after seeing the CO at the Geolympix. I ended up with a streak of 11 days of non-traditionals. I've listed them here.

We came on to this after doing Streaker Challenge #2. Phew that was a tiring walk up. Bobcat had scampered off ahead and had already been searching for a minute when I got there. I had another look at one place he'd already searched and found the cache there. Ha! my first find of the day.

Signed the log and left a little coin.

Then back down the hill. Its still quite slippery but its a lot easier on the way down. As we returned to our car we noticed that a cross had been carved into the chalk on the hill opposite and wondered who did that.

infoA Mystery Cache is the “catch-all” of cache types, this form of cache can involve complicated puzzles you will first need to solve to determine the coordinates. The only commonality of this cache type is that the coordinates listed are not of the actual cache location but a general reference point, such as a nearby parking location. Due to the increasing creativity of geocaching this becomes the staging ground for new and unique challenges.
