Write note Bearberry's Cub posted a note for Brass Cap Cache - A Memorial Puzzle

Monday, June 19, 2017Alberta, Canada

BCP573 Horseshoe Dam
N 51° 07.141 W 115° 02.074

(FOUND). Everhollow, Ladybug, Trefoil/Voyager, VDD and I were hiking to the Horseshoe Dam cache and this one was in our way. Couldn't pass it up. It was a good thing that one of my fellow cachers had the co-ordinates in their GPS or I would have walked right by it.

It was a great day to be out on the geocaching trail. The temperatures were moderate and there was little or no wind. We encountered horses and cows in the meadows on the way to this cap and on our return a grouse did the "broken wing" act to distract us from their brood.

No problem finding this one.

infoA Mystery Cache is the “catch-all” of cache types, this form of cache can involve complicated puzzles you will first need to solve to determine the coordinates. The only commonality of this cache type is that the coordinates listed are not of the actual cache location but a general reference point, such as a nearby parking location. Due to the increasing creativity of geocaching this becomes the staging ground for new and unique challenges.
