Didn't find it Citizen_22 couldn't find Brass Cap Cache- Smith-Dorrien Rd (Locked)

Wednesday, 19 August 2015Alberta, Canada

BCP074 Calgary (Nose Hill 2)

I was in Nose Hill today and figured I'd head over to see if I could find this cap. Once near GZ, I took a look at the cache page and then realized this one has not been found since 2013. Looking through some pictures from past logs was no help as it appears that any rocks on the area have been moved to the rock pile described in the hint. I wasn't prepared to dig around so after a brief search in the grass I decided to head back to the car and seek out a different cap for today. I'll have to come back with something to dig with and maybe a compass to use as a metal detector.

infoA virtual cache is a cache that exists in a form of a location. Depending on the cache "hider," a virtual cache could be to answer a question about a location, an interesting spot, a task, etc. The reward for these caches is the location itself and sharing information about your visit.

Because of the nature of these geocaches, you must actually visit the location and acquire the coordinates there before you can post. In addition, although many locations are interesting, a virtual cache should be out of the ordinary enough to warrant logging a visit.

Virtuals are now considered waymarks on Waymarking.com.
