Found it colincactus found Highclere Binary Cache

Saturday, July 8, 2017Southern England, United Kingdom

I solved this puzzle back in 2014. It was a bit harder than I was expecting it to be, but then I like puzzles where you have to use a bit of logic.

I was out caching with my son Bobcat today. A lovely sunny day with a nice walk to the cache - lots of butterflies by the side of the field.

The cache caused us all sorts of problems - we really thought we had lost our touch (how can we not find an ammo can). Eventually after about 15 minutes Bobcat found it (in a place we had searched thoroughly three times before). Huge relief. I had a look through the previous finders - quite a few famous names there.

Last found in May 2016 - so that means we have resuscitated it

infoA Mystery Cache is the “catch-all” of cache types, this form of cache can involve complicated puzzles you will first need to solve to determine the coordinates. The only commonality of this cache type is that the coordinates listed are not of the actual cache location but a general reference point, such as a nearby parking location. Due to the increasing creativity of geocaching this becomes the staging ground for new and unique challenges.
