Found it The Wildleys found Twrch Toilet

Saturday, August 7, 2004South Wales, United Kingdom

The final cache of our sunny geocaching Saturday! We were very pleased to finally be able to do this one. Thanks to Bernie and Susie for confirming the existence of the cache and to Zetetic for posting the coordinates.

Beautiful walk along the river and past the chimney. So quiet and lonely now, we can't imagine the bustle and hustle of the not-so-distant past. Made our way up the hill, wading through the reedy grass: Elizabeth beholding the brooding boulders and Simon manoeuvring through the marshy mounds.

Found the cache around 19.30 and signed the log as the sky slipped into sunset. Back down the hill with sheep silhouetted against the fiery sky, and back to the car via a farm track.

TNLN. Thanks for the good hike and interesting location!

infoThis is the original cache type consisting, at a bare minimum, a container and a log book. Normally you'll find a tupperware container, ammo box, or bucket filled with goodies, or smaller container ("micro cache") too small to contain items except for a log book. The coordinates listed on the traditional cache page is the exact location for the cache.
