Found it nicolo found Brass Cap Cache- Smith-Dorrien Rd (Locked)

Monday, 28 March 2005Alberta, Canada

BCP185-Oakridge

Came back today for another assault on this cap. This time I came with the hint but ... don't look for a power pole, it's not there.

Old Yeller ( my metal detector ) was with me again and this time she was VERY good to me. I only dug in one spot before I found the actual cap, about 3-4 inches underground. Dug, dug, dug and the cap was fully exposed. Poured some water on the cap a bit to clean it off and took a couple of pics.

NOTE : I have placed a small piece of flagging on the fence directly north of the cap and have left the cap exposed. It should be an easy find and to make it even easier I took 600 sample coordinates in order to come up with this average : N 50 58.675 W 114 08.282, 6-7 meters from the given coordinates, ymmv.

infoA virtual cache is a cache that exists in a form of a location. Depending on the cache "hider," a virtual cache could be to answer a question about a location, an interesting spot, a task, etc. The reward for these caches is the location itself and sharing information about your visit.

Because of the nature of these geocaches, you must actually visit the location and acquire the coordinates there before you can post. In addition, although many locations are interesting, a virtual cache should be out of the ordinary enough to warrant logging a visit.

Virtuals are now considered waymarks on Waymarking.com.
