Saturday, 01 April 2017Alberta, Canada

BCP675 Douglas Fir Trail
We had a mssion today to grab 10 Brass caps for a challenge, this was #09. After Calgary Silver Springs (BCP014) we opted for lunch and then plan B for the afternoon completion... After sneeking in an FTF, we headed uphill S on Sarcee to 3 caps near Wildwood. BCP 404 Edworthy S was a quick find but then we struck out at BCP190 (noted revised coordinates from an old log and picture for a return visit to that one soon). We continues E in Wildwood to grab this cap which was another quick find thanks to the marker post and then we extended our walk to grab a nearby puzzle cache. TFTC

infoA virtual cache is a cache that exists in a form of a location. Depending on the cache "hider," a virtual cache could be to answer a question about a location, an interesting spot, a task, etc. The reward for these caches is the location itself and sharing information about your visit.

Because of the nature of these geocaches, you must actually visit the location and acquire the coordinates there before you can post. In addition, although many locations are interesting, a virtual cache should be out of the ordinary enough to warrant logging a visit.

Virtuals are now considered waymarks on Waymarking.com.
