Found it ertyu found Pronounced TOP SECRET

Monday, August 17, 2009Manitoba, Canada

A lovely walk in the early evening, well almost, a little muddy. This park sure has changed since I last visited. I never did spend much time in this half, the tree nursery part, the other half is now houses and I'm surprised this park has not been connected to the new development. Or why there is a nice parking lot sitting there waiting to be used but blocked off. I did manage to find a sign at the trail head that explained the area, although it too demonstrates the seemingly continuous disregard for this park and it currently out of date and features an incorrect map. Anyway, took a bit to solve the puzzle, perhaps that's because it involved one of my weaker subjects in school. Finding the cache proved quite difficult in the damp foliage, much harder and hidden differently than I expected. Oh yes, it was a FTF after that effort. I found the nice wood-chipped path to be much nicer to walk on for the way back, although I think it's missing a bridge in the middle, I didn't check for sure.

infoA Mystery Cache is the “catch-all” of cache types, this form of cache can involve complicated puzzles you will first need to solve to determine the coordinates. The only commonality of this cache type is that the coordinates listed are not of the actual cache location but a general reference point, such as a nearby parking location. Due to the increasing creativity of geocaching this becomes the staging ground for new and unique challenges.
