This was me and my families very first week of geocaching. Our neighbors, who had visited Drummond Island before, had told us about geocaching and how it is a unique way to explore different locations that we wouldn't otherwise visit. After our first day of 'treasure hunting' - my kids were hooked!
Found this Geocoin at Warner's Cove. The cache was REALLY easy to find. Warner's Cove was easy to drive to in a car and offered some spectacular views!
My oldest son was excited to find the coin - which he thought was a treasure he could keep in exchange for leaving a different geo-trinket. But we read the directions that accompanied the coin and were glad to oblige. We kept the coin with us during the rest of our stay on Drummond Island and ultimately decided to travel south with it and drop it somewhere closer to home.
