Deze medaille wil graag zo zuidelijk mogelijk meegenomen worden. Hij is in een race samen met zijn tegenhanger "Rond de Wieden" (TB2A01J) om de zuidpool te bereiken.

This medal wants to be taken as far south as possible. He's in a race with his counterpart "Around the Wieden" (TB2A01J) to reach the South Pole.
IJsclub Ons Genoegen uit Sint Jansklooster organiseert zo gauw het natuurijs betrouwbaar genoeg is een maximaal 40 km lange toertocht: de Rond de Wiedentocht. Er kan gekozen worden tussen twee afstanden (15 of 40 km). De tocht die voor het eerst begin jaren ’80 werd verreden voert over het grondgebied van de gemeente Steenwijkerland en gaat door een prachtig natuurgebied. De startplaatsen zijn: Sint Jansklooster, Belt Schutsloot en Blauwe Hand. Promotor van deze tocht was tweevoudig Elfstedentochtwinnaar Evert van Benthem.
"Rond de Wiedentocht" ging korte tijd door het leven als "De Vliegende Hollander". Helaas raakte die al snel spoorloos. Deze travelbug krijgt een nieuwe kans als "Rond de Wiedentocht" en zal de reis over de wereld voortzetten.

Iceskating Club "Ons Genoegen" from St. Jansklooster will organize, as soon as the natural ice is reliable, a 40 km long tour Rond de Wieden. You can choose between two distances ( 15 or 40 km) . In the early 80s the tour take place for the first time and leads through the territory of the municipality of Steenwijkerland and the National Park Weeribben-Wieden. The starting points are: St. Jansklooster , Belt Schutsloot and Blauwe Hand . Promoter of this trip was twofold Elfstedentocht winner Evert van Benthem.
"Rond de Wiedentocht" went for a short time trough life as ""De Vliegende Hollander". Unfortunately it dissappeared. This Travel Bug gets a new chance as "Rond de Wiedentocht" and will continue the journey over the world .
