[EN] These little figures are sold on the streets and in souvenir shops around Aswan. They commemorate the fate of the Nubians, who were resettled in Egypt and Sudan because of the flooding of their country after the construction of the Aswan High Dam and lost a large part of their property, their livelihood and their culture.
