Mein Eigentümer freut sich über viele hochgeladene Bilder zu den Stationen meiner Reise.

Luchs Travel Bug

Ursprünglich war der Luchs in fast ganz Europa und großen Teilen Asiens verbreitet. Nach intensiver Verfolgung durch den Menschen ist das Verbreitungsgebiet heute deutlich kleiner. Die meisten der mitteleuropäischen Luchsvorkommen gehen auf Wiederansiedlungsprojekte zurück.

In Deutschland kommt der Luchs außer im Harz auch im Bayerischen Wald vor. Seit 2016 wird die Tierart im Pfälzerwald angesiedelt. Aus der Schweiz wandern vereinzelt Luchse nach Baden-Württemberg ein. Einzelne Nachweise gibt es auch in Sachsen. 

Originally the lynx was widespread in almost all of Europe and large parts of Asia. After intense human persecution, the range is now much smaller. Most of the Central European lynx populations can be traced back to reintroduction projects.

In Germany, the lynx is found in the Bavarian Forest as well as in the Harz Mountains. The species has been settled in the Palatinate Forest since 2016. Isolated lynxes migrate to Baden-Württemberg from Switzerland. There is also some evidence in Saxony.
