Krtko (v českom origináli Krtek, prezývaný aj Krteček) je známa kreslená postavička, ktorú stvoril výtvarník Zdeněk Miler v štúdiu Krátky Film Praha. Keď dostal mladý animátor úlohu nájsť nové zvieratko do rozprávky, zamotalo mu to hlavu. „Snáď dva mesiace som sa pozeral z okna a premýšľal. Jedného dňa som sa šiel prejsť do lesa, vyleziem na lúku, zrazu zakopnem a ležím. Vedľa mňa krtinec a mne svitlo: ‚Sláva!‘,“ spomínal p.Miler na vznik postavičky, ktorá ho preslávila vo svete.
Krtko (in the Czech original Krtek, also nicknamed Krteček) is a well-known cartoon character created by artist Zdeněk Miler in the Krátky Film Praha studio. When a young animator was given the task of finding a new animal for a fairy tale, it confused his head. "For maybe two months I looked out the window and thought. One day I went for a walk in the forest, I climb into the meadow, suddenly I trip and lie down. A mole next to me and it dawned on me: 'Glory!'," recalled Mr. Miler about the creation of the character that made him famous in the world.
