To travel to Split, Croatia and wander back to Alaska.
This trackable was brought from Anchorage, Alaska to Seattle to the GIFF at Ground Speak and given to me.
During the Croatian/Serbia war, I was a volunteer for a few weeks in Split Croatia working in one of the military hospitals there. The Croatian Army was comprised of civilians. The United States was enforcing a no fly zone over Croatia effectively grounding the Serbia planes and there was a worldwide embargo on parts, that put the Serbian navy in mothballs, this left the civilians of Croatia to defend their country. The United States was helping the Croatians in their efforts to remain free. Thank goodness they were successful after a long and bloody war. I have nothing but the upmost respect for Croatians, they know the value and the price of freedom.
