Mission is very simple. My girlfriend and I are each launching TBs in a competition. They are to collect hitchhikers. Meaning, as you find one of these TBs add something to the key ring and expand the collection. Feel free to add rings to make more space if needed. We as a couple will routinely examine the pics (which you are strongly encouraged to provide) and see which of our travel bugs has collected more hitchhikers. If you can’t take a pic, mention that you added something to the collection in your log entry if you would.
~~You can see by the default pic that both TBs are starting off with a civil war key chain. We did this because we have had so many memorable experiences while visiting historic or civil war sites, such as Harpers Ferry, Antietam, Gettysburg, etc…
For us, the winner will be rewarded on a quarterly basis and will be judged each year as these grow.
- Whichever TB has the most Hitchhikers on March 1st of each year; the winner is treated to dinner at their place of choice.
- The winner on June 30th, get his/her car washed by the other
- The winner on September 30th, gets unlimited Starbucks on the loser’s dime for that entire month
- The loser on Dec 31st, picks up the hotel tab on the next weekend get-away.
