Current GOAL To travel back to Umeå in northern Sweden, the European Capital of Culture 2014. I want to return home in time for the Capital of Culture Event - Umea 2014, August 1-3. GC4XA2A
About This Item:
Umeå is European Capital of Culture 2014, and to celebrate this we will arrange an event 1-3 August. We are hoping the event will reach MEGA-status. For more information about the event, please view GC4XA2A or homepage. We hope our event will unite cultures and we want to invite the rest of Europe to Umeå. Therefor, 44 coins were sent to different European capitals and this particular coin started its journey in London, United Kingdom. It is aiming to go back to Umeå, arriving back home in time for the event.
As a bonus, this coin holds the key to solving the special event-cache GC4XRGC UMEA 2014 - Capitals of Europe. To be able to log the cache you will need three things:
1. The coordinates, which can be found through the special checker, using the tracking code of any of the 44 coins
2. A visit to Umeå and to the cache site.
3. The code found with the coin (in the plastic folder) to open the cache box.
