About This Item

Another view

On May 1, 2004 ten new states became members of the European Union (EU). To commemorate this historic day, TB EU Capital Traveler sets out on his mission to visit all European capitals.
Information on the new member countries can be found here: European Capitals and Overview of all European Countries

Since many of you probably don't know all of the new member countries' capitals, here is a short list (in no particular order):
Estonia - Tallinn
Latvia - Riga
Lithuania - Vilnius
Cyprus - Nicosia
Malta - Valetta
Poland - Warszaw
Czech Republic - Prague
Slovenia - Ljubljana
Slovakia - Bratislava
Hungary - Budapest

... and of course TB EU Capital Traveller wishes to see all the other capitals in Europe: London, Dublin, Paris, Berlin, Brussels, The Hague, Vienna, Luxembourg-Ville, Reykjavik, Oslo, Stockholm, Copenhagen, Helsinki, Rome, Madrid, Lisbon, Athens.
Okay, and even though Switzerland is not part of the EU, the EU Capital Traveller doesn' mind to go to Bern.
Please take this TB out of a cache only if you see a chance of bringing it to a European capital, or, at least, closer to a European capital it hasn't visited yet.
If the TB ends up in a rural area, it is appreciated that you bring it to a cache closer to travelling infrastructure (airport, train station, major highway).

The cache where this "trackable" was resting was archived by the imposition of Groundspeak, due to his rule that the "missing trackables" should be classified as being in "unknown location".
However, since I prefer to leave my missing trackables to rest in a (also “disappeared") cache, rather then floating on air, I choose to keep them there.
In the future I’ll keep putting there all my other "trackables" that may disappear.
