Mark Thompson, founder of geocacheuk.com died on 9th September 2004. This travel bug is taking part in a race in his memory. Please move the bug as quickly as possible and try to place it in a cache where it will be found quickly by another geocacher.
This bug is in a race. Points are awarded for a combination of distance travelled and number of times moved. So even if you only move the bug a few miles, please do. Try not to leave it in caches that are visited infrequently to give it a chance to move around.
The race is now over and the remaining race bugs are free to roam the world further extending the memories of a friend sadly departed.
