To travel to many caches raising money and awareness for breast cancer - my owner donates $1 to breast cancer research for every new person who places me in a new cache! *IMPORTANT* You have to leave me in a new cache for me to generate more donations, not just take me along with you to a lot of caches! I want to meet new people! Thanks!
I've participated in the
Breast Cancer 3-Day Walk for 5 years now, both as a walker (walking all 60 miles each time!) and as a volunteer. Each year, I come up with new ways to generate donations. Using Geocoins as a way to spread the word and generate more seemed like a simple thing to do.
Breast cancer is in my family and among my friends. I've lost people to it. I have two small nieces and I want them to grow up free from having to worry about it. Please help me!
The Breast Cancer 3-Day benefits Susan G. Komen for the Cure. While I am taking a break from walking, I do plan to keep donating. This coin is one way that I will generate self contributions. Every time a new cacher puts this coin in a new cache, I'll donate another $1. Keep the coin moving!
I have a set of 20 coins that have been moving for 2 years now. Some have gone missing, but some have traveled the world. Not only do I make donations when they move, but some of the cachers who have moved it along have made their own donations as well! I know this coin is touching lives and I've appreciated all of the touching stories that people have shared with me when they encounter it. Please move it along - it has to change hands as well as visit new caches!
