RE-RELEASED, ONCE AGAIN, AS PROXY #3 ON 6/13/22 AFTER PROXY #2 WAS REPORTED AS MISSING FROM A CACHE JUST 3 MONTHS AFTER IT HAD BEEN PLACED ALMOST 11 MONTHS AGO, AND NO LUCK IN FINDING ANYONE WHO MAY HAVE RETRIEVED IT BEFORE IT WENT MISSING. PROXY #2 HAD ONLY TRAVELED ABOUT 341 MILES SINCE IT WAS ISSUED BEFORE IT WENT MISSING NEAR ALBUQUERQUE, NEW MEXICO!! PROXY #3 CONSISTS OF TWO 2" x 2" LAMINATED PIECES OF PAPER ATTACHED TO A SMALL BLACK SCRUNCHY BAND. ONE HAS A PICTURE OF THE ORIGINAL TB ON ONE SIDE WITH THE TB CODE AND PROXY #3 ON THE OTHER SIDE. THE OTHER ONE HAS ITS MISSION ON ONE SIDE AND TB HANDLING INSTRUCTIONS ON THE OTHER SIDE.
RE-RELEASED AGAIN AS PROXY #2 ON 3/22/21 AFTER PROXY #1 WENT MISSING FROM A CACHE A YEAR AGO. IT HAD NOT TRAVELED EVEN 1 MILE BEFORE IT DISAPPEARED IN PEORIA, ARIZONAI!!
RE-RELEASED AS A PROXY ON 6/26/19 AFTER THE ORIGINAL WAS MISSING FOR ALMOST 3 YEARS. IT HAD TRAVELED ABOUT 22,651 MILES BEFORE IT DISAPPEARED IN HAWAII!!
Watch your step! Luther the Black Catsidy just might cross your path while in search of a new cache. Be very careful or you might just get seven years of bad luck.
Luther was initially set free by Gabby Venezia in a cache in Prescott, AZ, who wants to see him travel from cache to cache finding all kinds of games and toys in caches.
He is made of aluminum, measures just under 2", so he should fit nicely in small canisters. He also comes with a 3.5" chain for attaching to your favorite traveler.
