Founders Pirate Tag-Jeremy Irish

This TB tag represents the three founders of Geocaching. This was given to me by Jeremy Irish, founder of geocaching.com & Groundspeak in Seattle, at the Colorado Welcome Event for the GPS Maze at the Wildlife Experience in Lone Tree, CO.

This link details the official history of how geocaching started in 2000 after the selective ability of 24 global satellites was removed by our federal government allowing use of these satellites by anyone who owned a GPS receiver.
