Going to a Giants Game

This Travel Bug and accompanying logbook would like to go to a Giants Game in San Francisco, California then return to it's owner in Salt Lake City, Utah. It has not been to a game yet, please move it from it's present location to a cache closer to San Franciso. Also, please enter your thoughts, feelings, and experiences into the logbook to help create a permanent record of its journey.

Living in Utah and not having a major league baseball team is very difficult on a die-hard baseball fan. I get very few chances to see a big league game. Through this Travel Bug, I hope to vicariously experience a distance game during the 2004 season since it didn't make it during the 2003 season.

The bug started out in Salt Lake City, Utah and wants to find its way to San Fransico, California to be a part of a Giants game and then return to Utah. Please move it towards San Francisco from its current location. Once there, I am depending on a fellow baseball fan to take the logbook to a Giants game. While at the game, please write something about the experience, the green of the grass, the color of the high sky, the crack of the bat, the sights, the smells, and, of course, the game itself. Include the final score and, if possible, attach the box score from the next days paper to one of the logbook's pages. After the game, please put the bug in a cache so it can start its journey back to Utah.

If you are near any baseball park, major league or otherwise, when you have the bug in your possession, if possible, treat the logbook to a game. If you can't go to a game, at least drive by the stadium and let some of the karma of the great game of baseball permeate into the logbook. When it gets back to me, I'm sure I will be able to feel the spirit of baseball emanating from its pages.

Please do not hold this bug for more than a week and try to drop it off in a frequently visited cache to help it get to a game before the end of the baseball season. Travel bug hotels are ideal.
