Please Circulate! No goal other than to keep circulating.
I will measure success by the number of NEW geocachers that log a discovery or pickup. I do not value a person that keeps this for two months while "visiting" every cache that the holder finds, seeking more logs or more mileage. I prefer you to DROP in the next cache that is big enough.
It would be extra special to us if those who also love their feline friends will post some photos, and stories, to share with us.
This travel tag is in honor of the beautiful Maine Coon cats that have been important to us.
Find out more about the Maine Coon breed: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maine_Coon
My partner and I have been blessed with wonderful feline friends. Schatzi (1997-2007) was our first pet and our first Maine Coon. We did a lot of investigation before choosing the Maine Coon breed. We both lived with many other breeds. Nine months later we returned to the same breeders for another. Kitties need play partners too! We convinced them to let us have Mozart (1998-2008). He became our best friend. We nursed him through mast cell cancer using radiation treatments the same as humans at Stevens Hospital. That gave us eight more years with him. When Schatzi was taken by kidney failure at the end of 2007, we started the search for a new generation.
My mother in Boise met breeders from Portland at a cat show. We traveled there and were interviewed when a litter was six weeks old. We had no trouble choosing two with different personalities. We came back when they were 12 weeks to adopt them. Born March 17, 2008, so we chose Irish names: Clancy [Red Warrior] and Ruari [Red Queen] are siblings. This proves very important, because they like being together and play (mostly fair) together a lot. The gallery photo of both on my chest and lap was normal behavior. It started because each would jump up and go higher. They would go to my neck just to be higher. Today they don't do that, but Clancy still prefers the chest while I recline to watch TV.
We love our cats. We hope sharing this trackable will bring some of that pleasure to others.
