This is Salmonella
We started our Geocaching in the mids 2011 and we needed a mascot.
I am a food science technology working in Quality assurance.
The Salmonella is one of the most important creatures to get rid off as it can cause food born diseases.

I got a Salmonella after a course about: how to treat food by pasteurization to eliminate microbes
As an experiment we let this Salmonella multiply in a petri dish. Normally microbes multiply by dividing into 1, 2, 4, 16......
But we got 3! in the first stage. So it is a special one. Perhaps Is this a Salmonella which will not cause a disease!?
In our business we call microbes sometimes bugs
As we had a special bug we thought let him travel the world, it is a Salmonella travel bug
This is why we send this Salmonella far far away.............
