Paul the Tiger wants to beat his friend, Boris the Sea Turtle, in a race around the world!
About This Item
The Great Race
Paul the Tiger and Boris the Sea Turtle
have been fast friends all their lives and
their friendship has been one founded on
friendly competition. Recently, they were both
hiking on a trail on the side of a small
mountain in southern Virginia called
Turkeycock Mountain. It was a nice fall day
and they were enjoying colorful leaves
from the numerous views along the trail.
Even Sea Turtles enjoy a scenic hike in the mountains
every now and then.
Suddenly, Paul spotted a plastic
container hidden along the way. Curious, they
opened it and discovered the sport of Geocaching.
What they had found, in fact was
Lyra's Lair 4
After they read the Geocaching information page
in the cache and found out what the sport was
all about, they both realized, without a word spoken,
that this presented the opportunity for their
greatest competitive adventure of all time,
A RACE AROUND THE WORLD!!!!
the ground rules for their race and agreed that
Lyra's Lair 4 would be their Start/Finish line and
that the first one home after traveling all the way around
the world would be the winner.
"Last one home's the rotten egg!"
they each exclaimed
as they jumped into the cache to await the first geocacher to find them and send them on
their way. They had no idea why they were speaking in red, but guessed that it must
have been some HTML editing oversight.
Can you help Paul win the race? If so, please take
both Paul and Boris and leave them in different caches so they
can begin their respective travels!
By the way, Boris the Sea Turtle's travel bug page is
NO WAGERING PLEASE!
