This TB began its career racing from Celebration, Florida USA to Somerton, Somerset UK against a heap of tough UK competitors!
Its mission was simple - to win the race!
Though it travelled many miles in its single-minded endeavour, it was clearly not destined to win this particular race, though the famous saying still applies : "Winning isn't everything - it's the only thing!"

Many of the TBs in this race arrived back in the UK long ago, but this one is still clocking up the miles ... at one point in 2015 it arrived within a hour's drive of my family in the Mountain View CA area! How about that for a small world! ... And so its travels continue, rather like The Flying Dutchman in Wagner's opera ... destined to sail the Seven Seas forever ... but hopefully not disappear like several of my TBs in the past!
This racing TB celebrates the 'Special Relationship' between the USA and the UK, not only at the global, political level, but at a very personal one - our Anglo-US family branch (complete with two lovely grand-kids!) is based in California, and we've had some great trips Stateside, travelled widely, and met lots of great people on our travels...
