The Buckeye Express

I am attempting to get this bug to my sister, who lives in Warwick. She moved to England about seven years ago and, obviously, we don't get to see her very much. This bug is just a little reminder to let her know that there are still people back home in Ohio thinking about her.

When this bug gets to Warwick, please place this in a cache or location that is easy to find as I don't think she even has a GPS. If there isn't one, please email me and we can work something else out.

Unfortunately this travel bug is lost. The cache it was in got permanently buried under a roadbed and was replaced with a new cache. The final resting place of the bug is at N60°00.910' E23°56.886'.

An adventurous rescue mission in the dark from a stunning cache on the The Pennine Way long distance path, high above the M62 motorway. It was The Buckeye's first birthday today so after a quick chorus of “Happy Birthday to You” it was back on the motorway into yet another traffic jam and I missed my tea as a result – was it worth it?
Yep, but try explaining that to my mother in law!

The Buckeye Express isn't having much luck at the moment! We had intended to move it further south by now but unfortunately had a change of plan. We didn't feel it was fair to keep it out of circulation for too long so, placed it at Beacon Fell. A cache by Team Galaxy. This means that the last two outings for this bug have taken it in the wrong direction. Sorry! Hope your next lift is more successful Buckeye!
