After hearing many stories of daft trackables passed along at event caches (traffic cones, etc.) at The best of a BAD bunch I fancied making one of my own. I've been looking around for a stone for some time but haven't yet found anything meeting my criteria of wide and long, but less than 5cm thick (to fit in the laser cutter), heavy and polished not crumbly. I imagine I could find one on a shingle beach fairly easily, but I'm landlocked in Northampton.
However, I did have a broken roof tile that's been sat to the side of my garage for years. So that's it. I spent an hour one evening etching it at 25mm/s with the Northackton laser cutter. It was rather slow going but has left a nice solid etch. (Turns out twice the speed would have produced a similar result. More haste and less speed with testing the etch before going for the whole thing. We live and learn.)

Well I Never I dropped this in the Event at the Bryntirion Inn. Terrapintim who attended the Event told us that in 2017 he carried this TB in his luggage from the Belgium Mega for Doctor Evil.
Apparently it's going back to Belgium 🇧🇪 in the Near Future
Phew it's on its Way out of UK 🇬🇧
