About This Item

When I first got to Svalbard in  the beginning of summer, my dad had just gotten a cancer diagnosis and was about to start treatment. Now, when I'm about to leave, another beloved relative has gotten cancer aswell. Hopefully that tumor is benign and I obviosuly really hope both of them will make it through without major problems and that life will soon return back to normal.

 

I know not everyone is that fortunate though... So this girl with the "national costume" of Svalbard is travelling the world to try to stop cancer and find a cure... Hopefully one day she will succeed. In the main time, she'll just raise awareness - and perhaps even a bit of money for the various cancer founds?

 

I know the pink ribbon represents breast cancer, but this goes out to all kinds of cancer.

Take care of each other! Life is fragile.
