It is called Sam the Cat because the cat on it looks like Sam! I ought to add that Sam is Grandma's cat...

    So, Sam the Cat has finally made it to Bath. 15280 miles, trips to Denmark and the USA included. I retrieved him from a devilish cache, X-factor(ial), so the combination of seeing Sam again, plus solving the cache made this a real one to remember. As I said in my previous note, the real Sam the Cat arrived in Bath a couple of years ago, he used to live in Buckinghamshire. When middle daughter, who is the real cat lover in the family, returns from Uni, I will endeavour to get a picture of Daughter, Sam the Cat and Sam the Geocoin to post and close out the tale of adventure.

    The arrival of Sam the Cat Geocoin in his objective of Bath has been duly noted by his owner...after a very long journey (time and distance).
    Incidentally, the REAL Sam the cat, (who used to live in Buckinghamshire with the younger geocahcers' Grandma when the travel bug was released) arrived to live in Bath a couple of years ago, so there is every prospect of a reunion. I managed to crack the code for the Geocoin's current cache today, so have the co-ordinates, and will try to fetch Sam soon.... provided he hasn't wondered off again before then...you know what cats are like!
