.This coin is being released to help raise awareness of motorcycle safety, it is in memory of-
Todie Phillips of Manitou Beach, MI. He passed away August 12 2008 as a result of a motorcycle accident, he was only 49 years old.
Use your head (to look where you’re going.)
This may sound slightly remedial but it is an under-appreciated habit of a skilled rider. It becomes even more important in corners where riders tend to be mesmerized by the area of pavement directly in front of their bike. As you round the turn, keep your head and eyes up, looking through the corner as far as you safely can, at least three to four seconds ahead. (If you can’t see that far ahead, you need to slow down until you CAN see three to four seconds ahead.) You’ll be surprised by what you may see. Couple this new-found vigilance with an escape route (should something wicked come your way) and your chances of getting intimately familiar with the pavement are cut dramatically. Often a good game to play is the “What if … ?” game. Try to anticipate that car turning left in front of you or a spaceship crash landing in your path. Hey, if it happens on TV, it could happen to you, right?

Today I went back and officially retrieved this TB from a cache that doesn't seem to be registered on Geocaching.com that I stumbled across accidentally a few days ago. The cache was waterlogged and the contents slimy. This TB is rusty from sitting in the water in the cache. I will move it on to another cache, but didn't want it to sit in this one any longer - looks like it had not been logged in 2 years so it may have been sitting in that cache for that long. So, will move along the way!

We found Todie in a cache in the Tillie Fowler Regional Park in Jacksonville, FL accidentally when we stumbled upon this cache while searching for another. I've not even been able to determine what the cache is as it was not showing up in area caches. The cache was full of water and I'm not sure how long Todie has been here. After searching from home, I'm still not able to determine which cache is is and if I can't before I go back out in search of another one in the same park, I will grab Todie and place it in another cache to move it along. -- ugh...didn't mean to say grabbed it...yet
