Description:
This coin is molded after the Aztec Sun God Tonatiuh and the Aztec Moon Goddess Coyolxauhqui this coin is appropriately titled Luminous Energy meaning light which is necessary to find all caches whether your guided by the light of the sun or the moon. This coin has edge tracking.

About Tonatiuh:
In Aztec mythology, Tonatiuh (pronounced "tO na TE wa") was the sun god. The Aztec people considered him the leader of Tollan, their heaven. He was also known as the fifth sun, because the Aztecs believed that he was the sun that took over when the fourth sun was expelled from the sky. According to their cosmology, each sun was a god with its own cosmic era. According to the Aztecs, they were still in Tonatiuh's era. The Aztecs were fascinated by the sun and carefully observed it, and had a solar calendar second only in accuracy to the Mayans'. Many of today's remaining Aztec monuments have structures aligned with the sun.

About Coyolxauhqui:
Coyolxauhqui (pronounced "kO hOl SHahW kE") was the Moon goddess according to Aztec mythology. Her name means "Golden Bells." She was the daughter of the Earth goddess, Coatlicue.

About the Icon:
The hole in its centre denotes Cusco, termed "the navel of the Inca empire" and also represents the circle of life. Its Twelve external corners are believed to mark the twelve months of the year, While the four arms of the cross represent North, South, East and West. The chakana was a cross with three different levels, representing the three worlds: Hanan Pacha, the world of above (representing the gods of the sun, moon and stars); Kay Pacha, this world (representing this life); and Uqhu Pacha, the world of below (representing death).
