Federace rodicu a prátel sluchove postižených, o.s. je obcanské sdružení rodicu, prátel a profesionálu, které vyjadruje a hájí zájmy sluchove postižených detí a jejich rodicu. Federace rodicu a prátel sluchove postižených vznikla v roce 1990 z potreby rodicu sluchove postižených detí vzájemne si pomáhat pri výchove svých detí. Snahou naší organizace je tedy už pocátku prispívat k rozvoji péce o sluchove postižené deti a pomáhat jim a jejich rodicum prekonávat následky sluchového postižení.

The organization was founded in 1990 as a parents-helping-parents organization. Since then, FRPSP is the only one organization solely dedicated to defend the rights of deaf and hard of hearing children and their families in the Czech Republic. It also provides services to adult deaf and hard of hearing population.
